I'm surprised so many people here saw Julie & Julia! I read the Julie Powell book after I got it as a gift, and then I read the book about Julia Child, "My life in France". And I loved the movie because it as such an awesome mash-up of theose two great books.

I wore my lucky tshirt today (because I was buying tickets!) Its the black/red one from the 2006 tour that I wore to the Gainesville show, and on the back Gainesville is misspelled "Gainsville" I'm only superstitious about a few things - when I spill salt, I always throw it over my left shoulder. And I am always "knocking on wood" - whenever I hear or say anything that I don't want to tempt fate with. If I don't want the universe to get back at me by actually making happen, I knock.

I hope she's gone. I'd hate to run into her on my way out.

I can't see crap without my contacts. I'm very very nearsighted. Like, I can't even read the big E at the top of the eye chart. Just this year I have been having trouble reading and seeing the computer. The dr said I was over-corrected with contacts, so we tried weaker ones. NOT GOOD. So its readers for me. +1s.

i had the same issue with the email not being confirmed. I emailed them and got no response. So, I clicked the link that said "change password" - they sent a link to my email and I changed my password, and now my email says confirmed when I look up my account info. You should try that - it worked for me!!!

I would buy new bedroom furniture. All of my furniture is pretty new, house is still new (only there for 2 years) and the only hand-me-down stuff that I still have is the bedroom furniture. And probably a new mattress.

no. I'd like to try it, tho. I have a KitchenAid mixer now and you can buy a cool ice cream maker attachment for it. You can buy a cool "just-about-anything-maker" attachment for a KitchenAid, I'm starting to realize!

I am really enjoying watching the winter olympics today. The snow is so messed up in Vancouver, all the athletes keep falling and crashing spectacularly. I'm on the edge of my seat! Oh, and there is a Danish curling guy who looks just like Simon Pegg.
