  1. I don't buy magazines, I read them in the supermarket. Its the pictures and the headlines that draw my attention. Yesterday the person at the check out had to call me more than once to get my attention. I was next and was just standing there with my full cart, reading. You can rad magazines online, and I do that, too.

  2. I think I can handle a lot. The key with me is that I need to steadily blow off steam - most often with yelling and swearing. That's what works for me. And as long as I am actively planning and participating in some sort of resloution, I feel like I can go on forever. I don't have any give up in me!

  3. No.

We have this thing called Clown Fest up on the Boardwalk..one friend of mine from the beach is so scared of clowns. Some were walking down and he just freaked out!

Oh! I hate clownfest. There's this one clown named Fritz the clown that hangs around town all summer. Weird.

  4. 1. At what age did you discover Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers? Around 12 yrs old (Full Moon Fever) I actually got obsessed with the video for Free Fallin'. Any one remember videos?

    2. First TP&TH 45/album/cd did you buy? I didn't buy very many for myself at first. My dad had the cassettes Southern Accents, Full Moon Fever, Into the Great Wide Open, and I just used to swipe them. Maybe the first CD I bought for myself was Wildflowers.

    3. I know it's hard, but what song is your favorite? I go through different moods with favorite songs. But if I had to just pick one... I would say Learning to Fly, but then I would change my mind to Free Fallin', but then I would go back to Learning to Fly, etc. etc. etc.

    4. This might be hard for some, but which song do you not favor? I don't A Woman in Love very much. I have an aversion to synthesizers.

    5. How many TP&TH concerts would you say you have been to (not counting this upcoming tour)? 21.

    6. What is it about this band that just keeps you coming back for more? Quality. Shows are just chock full of good stuff, and they are a summer staple.

  5. I have a car that's pretty much in the dark ages. Its a 2001, so it has no satellite radio, no gps, doesn't even have an mp3 input. Just a radio, and a single-disc cd player. I own my car and therefore have no car payment - so i just just rock on down the road, listening to my radio!

I don't know how to burn dvds on my computer, and I have a 1G ipod nano (definitely need an update on the ipod!)

  6. 1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? Yes. I walk about a mile every day in NYc (to and from work from the bus station). I love to walk around outside - the (ocean) beach, the river, the Pine Barrens. Anything that is the opposite of NYC!

    2. What does your hair look like today? Damp from rain. Just had it cut into some layers, shoulder length, wavy, brown.

    3. What are you jealous of? When I watch Martha Stewart and she gives her whole audience cool gifts! (Its silly, but I hate them!)

    4. What winds you up? Complaining about things that you can't do anything about.

    5. What makes you stare? Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!

  7. I'm surprised so many people here saw Julie & Julia! I read the Julie Powell book after I got it as a gift, and then I read the book about Julia Child, "My life in France". And I loved the movie because it as such an awesome mash-up of theose two great books.

  8. I wore my lucky tshirt today (because I was buying tickets!)

Its the black/red one from the 2006 tour that I wore to the Gainesville show, and on the back Gainesville is misspelled "Gainsville"

I'm only superstitious about a few things - when I spill salt, I always throw it over my left shoulder. And I am always "knocking on wood" - whenever I hear or say anything that I don't want to tempt fate with. If I don't want the universe to get back at me by actually making happen, I knock.
