at work, one ring or less. At home, I check the caller id first, so maybe 2 or 3.

touching. I count large numbers of knitting stitches all the time, and I have to touch them and move them along in groups. And if I count things in the distance (that I can't actually touch) I'll point at them.

I think famousness is vey relative. I've never spoken to a president, closest would probably be Geraldine Ferraro.
Daivd Duchovny and Chris Carter (both from X-Files) are the people who I got the most excited about meeting.

yesterday. I didn't start off that way. I swear. I called NJ Transit and very nicely asked a question. The person on the other end of the phone started yelling at me immediately! So I yelled back, she had me rattled.

I like spicy food that makes little beads of sweat pop out on my upper lip. (That's pretty spicy!) The only thing I've ever tried that was too much was a Chinese food dish that had these little tiny whole dried red peppers. They were so hot I couldn't even believe it. I had to eat another one just to prove to myself how stinkin hot they were!

1. Where would you really want to live in your country if given the opportunity. The North, South, East or West? Why? East. I like where I am now. Except this past winter was really bullsh!t. Normally we don't get very much snow at all. (and I like it that way!)
2. To hang on your living room wall, you would prefer a painting or a photo? Why? Either one. I have completely bare livingroom walls - haven't put anything up sinec I moved in (2 years ago, now)
3. For a soda, which brand would you prefer. Coke or Pepsi? Coke. My absolute favorite is Diet Vanilla Coke Zero, but I can never find it.
4. Do you own a PC or Mac? PC
5. On a daily basis, which do you prefer, a shower or bath? Shower.
6. When at the store, do you prefer paper or plastic bags? plastic. I really do reuse them, though. And after a while they are the cat pooper-scooper bags.

3. What is your "escape"? Knitting or crocheting, I guess. Makes me chill out most effectively. I'm more into the present, rather than escaping.
4. When is the last time you cried? Yesterday. About Red Rocks.
5. What do you have plan for the weekend? Oh, very exciting plans. Mowing the lawn for the first time this year. Buying cat litter. Watching some Netflix discs. Washing my kitchen floor. (This is what my weekends have become, with my long commute Monday-Friday)

Yesterday I walked past a restaurant that has inside and outside speakers. THe song that was playing was "The Waiting" and I shouted "Oh, isn't that just F*ed up!" Yup. In the middle of Times Square. Feeling pretty ass-out about all this rescheduling of the tour crap.

the interior of a NJ Transit bus - it has these big plastic panels around the seats, and above the seats (under the luggage racks) where the lights are. When the bus gets going, driving down the highway doing about 80mph, these pieces of crap start vibrating, wiggling, rattling and its really loud and annoying. I hate it so much!

so, somebody (who doesn't work for my company) but shares the kitchen area on my floor - burnt the crap out of a bag of microwave popcorn.
#1 - I'm pissed because I have to sit and work in the stink.
#2 - I'm pissed because I've answered the question "Who burned the popcorn?" about 57 times so far today.
#3 - I'm pissed because no alarms went off - at all!
I feel really safe in this state of the art 40plus floor skyscraper in midtown Manhattan. Really safe.

i didn't answer. Because I could have gone to any or all of these, if I had know what the actual REAL schedule was going to be, before I started taking time off work and making travel plans.
