  1. 1. Are you a people watcher? oh, definitely yes! It never fails to keep me entertained.

    2. At home, who do you hang out with? My family, at my parents house (and their pool) Or just my cats.

    3. Did you work hard this week? Yes. Both hard and smart! (exhausted)

    4. How do you show a friend who is sad, a good time? Change of scenery. It helps get anyone out of their head for a while. I like to take my friends out to the beach, and maybe out for some Mongolian BBQ.

    5. What's your favorite rule to break? I hate getting up in the morning, so I have self-imposed rules about waking up and going to bed. I love to break them, and stay up really late and sleep in. (but not when I have to go to work!)

  2. 1. Describe where you grew up: In large "small" town. 90,000 plus people, but spread out over about 40 square miles. Near the Pine Barrens, the river, the bay, the ocean. I really love it, so much so that I moved back there 2 years ago!

    2. Do you wear any jewelry? Yes. Earrings -big 00 gauges (about 10mm, or 3/8") My giant ear-holes look weird without earrings so I always wear some. Sometimes other earrings in my other holes. And a neckalce with two charms that I love. I've been wearing it every day since I was about 12.

    3. In your opinion, what do you have too much of? Yarn. Books. Stress. I'm working on it.

    4. Who is a fool? IDK - lots of people at times.

    5. What's your nickname? Dooler, KellyKelly, Kellygirl, Kel

  3. no. I know someone who's parent is a pilot, and in their family sometimes things like that do happen. Their family members sometimes meet up in random places when the pilot has a layover. Just go to the airport and catch the next plane going to whatever city, with only a few hours notice. It sounds so spontaneous and fun!

  4. ovo-lacto vegetarian. I have been trying to limit eggs and dairy products, so I have many vegan days. But I just love scrambled eggs, and cheese, on a hard roll with vegetarian sausage and ketchup for breakfast! I frequently eat the faux-meat products, which are rarely vegan (go figure!)

  5. just today, I have been plagued by little annoyances. Its Wednesday in NYC, so like 11 older ladies on their way in for a fun day in "the city" clucked and cackled like chickens for the entire 1 hour 20 minute ride in to work. When I got to the office, I realized I forgot my ID, and when I phoned no one in my office even answered the phone. So I roamed around the block and found another employee who was outside on a break and he signed me in at the front desk. And once I got in and turned on my computer I realized its June 30th and I should have stopped and bought a July bus pass, but I guess I was distracted by the chickens cackling. So now I hope to be able to leave early so I can buy the pass. There will some awfully long last-day-of-the-month lines at the ticket windows and machines today, so I might miss my bus and have to wait 45 minutes for the next one. I am grateful that its only this annoying little stuff making me crazy today. And its almost the holiday weekend! (Whine about it Wednesday always makes me feel eventually better about things!)

  6. No secret recipes in my family. Never understood it, until I asked for a recipe from a co-workers mother for her sweet potato pie. She gave it to me and I make it and love it. Her daughter was just SHOCKED! that her mom gave me the "secret" recipe. It turns out that she never, never gave it to anyone, not even her own daughter. Weird!

  7. my cell phone is paid for by the company I work for. So yes, I answer it when it rings. I do have manners, though, and I excuse myself from who I am with and then apologize for the interruption. I'm not a rude person. I think that the more technological people become, the less emphasis is put on manners and courtesy in regards to technology.

  8. Fun - we have the beach, the ocean and the bay. There are tons and tons of tourists in my town all summer long! It gets kind of annoying, especially on holiday weekends. Traffic, restaurants and stores are all packed, my beach will actually stop letting people in once it is "full" - that's why I have to go se early in the morning!

  9. The Ground Round

we got hamburgers and french fries, but the real attraction was that they had a movie projector set up and they played movies or cartoons onto a big screen, and there were little plastic baskets with popcorn on all the tables. (showing my age, too - this was before VCRs or DVDs!)
