^good for you! I think its a wonderful idea, it must feel so freeing! I confess, I watched the new show "Mob Wives" on VH1 last night and I LOVED IT!!!! (another guilty pleasure tv show...)

I'm sorry - but I do not agree with these parents today! I was raised differently, and I think they are fricken crazy!

I would say Julia Braverman on Parenthood. Although I'm not a mom, nor a lawyer, my family says I'm very much like that character. There was a scene in the Thanksgiving episode where Julia was making three different pies for the holiday, and she had the same KitchenAid mixer as me, and she was just as stressed as me (and I was making three pies while watching the show!) where I just had to admit it to myself. If you don't watch Parenthood, I love it and I would highly reccommend it!

Do all good Southern women grow tomatoes? I had no idea - I thought it was only all old Italian men. I live in NJ, so of course I grow tomatoes. And a bunch of other stuff - I plant and plant even though most stuff dies on me. Tomatoes, basil, and radishes are what I have the most success with (so far - I've only had a garden 2 years at the house). I hate to say it, but it really isn't Spring yet - we're getting some more "wintry mix" the next two days. I wait until May, usually. Maybe if I had a greenhouse...?

I was a little girl all those years ago when these two were like, totally cool. I voted for Debbie Gibson, only because she wrote her own songs and I thought that was pretty great. I like singer/songwriters.

Hmmm... I heard about this contest, and the first questions that came to mind were: "Why has the quality of customer service for the HCC gone down the tubes in the last year?" "Why did you cancel the San Diego show TWICE last year (once was due to illness, I know and I understand, but why the other time?) "Why did I have such an awful time at all the shows I went to last tour?" I think I'm going to opt out of the contest. My computer was flat busted on Sunday - the damn thing wouldn't even turn on. I eviscerated its guts and messed around with everything inside of it last night and it works now!!! I feel like a super smart computer nerd! And I'm totally buying a new one this weekend.

I'm a vegetarian, too. Not eating meat (on whatever days you're not supposed to) is the only good Catholic thing I do all year!

This story is just unbelievable. All of the pets I've ever had have come from a shelter or some other kind of situation where the animal needed a 2nd chance. I believe that they knew they were rescued and appreciated it!

bought tickets for All Good yesterday! The line up is great, each ticket was less than $200 for 4 days, and they went on sale just in time for my dad's birthday!
