car. I can afford to take a vacation next year (I'm already saving up) but I absolutely can not afford the new car that I want. If it could just appear in my driveway, that would be so nice!

today I saw Hugh Jackman - I waved at him and he waved back!:007:

yes, but with reservations. I feel like some days all I do involves technology of one kind or another. So I try to really pay attention to doing things that are natural - like I really stop and focus and feel it thoroughly. Every single day. I had a realy busy day yesterday and all I could manage to do was sit on my deck at 1am and look at the stars. So I really focused and looked for a long time.

It depends on where it is I'm going. I'm pretty fast in the mornings when I go to work. It all depends on what I'm (attempting) to do to my hair. Today it was just wash and go (so it's looking half-curly-half-messy today). Blow drying adds 10 minutes, straightening afterwards another 10, sometimes I curl, but that's usually only when I get really dolled up for like a wedding or something fancy

Barefoot. I think feet are much easier to clean than socks!

Agree with someone. i think that's less creepy than a compliment.

I had to vote ebooks. I really really love love real books, but so much so that my house is overcrowded with books and I have no more room left. So I got a kindle and I love it. I still buy books from authors so I feel like I am still supporting them. I still borrow/lend actual book books with people. I think you can borrow/lend with kindle, now, I just haven't found out the details yet.

Today I'm going to pick two or three green bell peppers that I have growing in the garden, and saute them with some onions, garlic, maybe some jalapenos or cayenne peppers (also from the garden) and add some vegetarian Italian-style sausages. And I will probably cook up some brown rice in the rice cooker to go with it. I have to cook toniht because I have a super long day at work tomorrow - have to pack breakfast, lunch and dinner!

oooh, I love cross-stitch. Or any kind of stitching. That's a good idea - I have a long car trip coming up this weekend. Oh, and I'll definitely be bringing my electronic cigarette, too. It makes bus rides much easier to bear.

9:00 pm. I commute between 7:15p and 9p. When I walk in the door at 9 I am starving!

I can't believe that I missed the new SNL this weekend! It makes my workdays so much easier to bear.

a little agitated today...
Last night I went into a store and I overheard an argument between two workers (or so I thought) It was really one-sided, a man was right up in a woman's face, mocking her really loudly, being a total jackhole. He was waving a tissue in her face (like 2 inches away from her face!) and asking her if she was going to cry. I was shocked, and opened my mouth to say something, but I looked and both people were smiling. So I asked..."Is this about football?" The lady said yes, and looked a little embarrassed, so I just let it go.
Today, in an office near mine two guys were yelling and arguing and being really really loud, and I heard it and got upset, again, and then I realized it was about football.
I hate football, I don't understand all the fuss and I hate the way it makes otherwise normal people act so stupid! It grates on my nerves to have to listen to this nonsense. I always think people are having a serious fight.

its so funny to me that ...if someone has straiht hair, they mostly would prefer curly, and if they have curly, theay would prefer straight!
I said staight, but my my hair is neither straight nor curly, just frizz!

no. I once spent many hours waiting for an ankle xray in "the wee hours of the morning", but I got to go home and sleep in my own bed.

My grandmother told me a story from when she was a little kid - her family listened to Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" on the radio and I guess they missed the very beginning because her father thought it was real. They lived in NJ at the time, and the setting of the radio show was a made-up town in NJ, but they didn't know that. So her parents thought that all that was happeneing for real, and close by in the the same state, so they ran around around the house packing food and clothes in bags and packed the bags and the kids into the car. One of their neighbors came outside and laughed at them and told them the radio broadcast was a work of fiction. I've heard lots of funny stories about my great-grandfather from my grandma and father, but that is my absolute favorite.

I confess that after three years of mowing my lawn with the electric lawnmower, I finally mowed over the extention cord. And now I need to buy a new one. I just really don't want to have to touch actual liquid gasoline, that's why I have electric! (I live in NJ, and Jersey girls don't pump gas - or so the bumper stickers say!)

Here is what I hate: At a red light, when I pull up behind a car that is the first person stopped at the light. The whole time that the light is red, they slowly creep forward out into the intersection. Creeping, creeping forward...and then the light turns green, and they finally come to a complete stop! And wait. And then eventually go completely through the intersection. What is the meaning of this? I thought that red meant stop and green meant go! That's how I drive, anyway.

tattoo. my ears are already pierced 15 times, and I don't plan on getting any other parts of me pierced.

I used to love ice cream and now I have a terrible lactose intolerance. So my favorite is frozen sliced bananas. Slice them up, put them on cookie sheet in the freezer until frozen, then pop some in the blender with a little soy milk. (or regular milk or skim milk, it all works) What you get is a delicious banana-ice cream. Its the same consistency of a Frosty from Wendy's (which I used to love) and it doesn't make me sick!

^ the Tea-tanic! I love it.

Got an electric cigarette over the weekend. I just went to the bathroom to faux-smoke at work. Hoping it helps me get off the real light-fire-to-them cigarettes. So far so good.

I picked positive, but I'm usually the voice of reason that talks my friends out of stupidity or getting themselves into trouble. I think of that as positive, but they might not in certain (intoxicated) situations!

Yes, and I love it when I can interact with someone, even if its' just for a second. Much cooler than just standing there pointing a camera phone at someone, or asking them to sign an autograph on a napkin or something like that. I would rather have a smile and a "hi" or a wave anyday.
