wow. its amazing to me to think that there are people who never shoveled snow! I had sooooo much last winter I can't even describe it. I hate snow!

I just learner (on Kenny Wayne Shepard's status) that Hubert Sumlin has passed away. I got the chance to see him play a few years ago in AC....he and his band opened for TPATH. What a night that was! Levon Helm was the drummer.....rest in peace, Mr. Sumlin.....I saw that show too! It was really something special.

I really don't think I can do this tour. The one date I was looking at was May 1, but last time around in 2010 May 1st was the date that got completely screwed up! The MOJO no-show tour still hurts.:mad:

I had a facial and an hour massage Saturday - my first time going to a proper "spa" for a day of pampering. It was awesome!!!

Most of my 2011 big events were negative. All Good in July was a rockin good time (for the most part). The spa day I had with my friends this past weekend was really awesome. I'm lucky to have such great frinds, especially during such a trying year. Looking forward to a March 2012 trip to Vegas with them that we just booked!

All Good music festival this past July in Maosntown, WV. There were a tons of bands there and I saw quite a bit. My favorite was JJ Grey and Mofro. I love the music festival thing!

wow, I'm the snoozer I think.
I' supposed to get up at 7a to get out the door for work by 8:20. Most of the time I sleep in until 7:45a or even 8a sometimes. On the weekends when I don't have to get up I can sleep as late as noon! I love sleeping in with the cats and the sun shining in the window.

just stay at work all night. I left home at 8:30am this morning, I'll be getting in by about 11:30pm tonight. <sigh> At least I'll be getting some OT in my paycheck next week! Gotta work when there is work after all.

other - I have a room that is a combination turtle room/craft room.
My red eared slider Ramona lives there in her 92 gallon fishtank which is on a wooden stand, and there are shelves and shelves full of crafty things plus a desk with my sewing machine. And my father's old recliner that I refuse to throw away is also in there.
2nd favorite is probably the deck I built in my backyard.

It makes me incredibly sad to see & hear just how dependent on someone else that she is. Now that he is the one who needs help, she is drowning trying to do for him while she can't do a thing for herself! I think that is my biggest fear - being so helpless and not doing anything because someone else always does it for me.

Any of the Lord of the Rings movies. This actually just happened this weekend - there was a marathon on of all the movies on both Saturday and Sunday.

Hey farmers, I hope y'all feel better. I'm terrible about going to the doctor. Funny enough, just this morning I tripped and fell walking out of the house. I laid there on my front lawn for a minute, and instead of going back in the house or going to the emergency room - I got in the car and drove to the bus station! 2 hours later I got off the bus in NYC and had to walk to work. Big mistake. I have a terribly sprained ankle and I'm sitting at the computer with ice on it.

Kelly! You always have the best "street" stories!!! I think she's so beautiful. Is she gorgeous in person?I don't think I have such a great opinion of her now. It was pretty rude how she plowed through a crowd of people like that.:mad:

My mom cooks - she won't let anyone else near the kitchen. I have in the past brought pies, because I love to bake and my mom hates it. But we recently had a little arguement concerning Thanksgiving pies, so I don't know what's going to happen. I'll probably bake some anyway, because I like doing it, but its a little weird this year.
