I swear by science, but is it bad that I'm still suspicious?

I'll be honest, I've never BBQ'ed myself...but my dad uses a Gas (propane) grill. We have a charcoal one as well, but he prefers the propane one.

Ice Skating or Gymnastics. I LOVED watching those events when I was growing up... I even got a few bumps and bruises trying to do a triple-lutz or a dismount of of the couch! Trouble is, I can't skate to save my life! I can't even do a cartwheel anymore!

Mhmmm.... You all have the right idea! I think I'll have a root beer float for dinner!

It always means NO WORK! I don't mind having to go to lecture...in all honesty, I enjoy school.

When I was younger, I loved them. Now, I only go to the free local professional ones. Much cheaper and safer that way!

Normandi - It's pathetic really. I totally get your drift! When people need to use the Random Thoughts Thread or the memememe thread over there to make thinly-veiled attacks against other members, that's when I lose it. Either say things to their face or don't say them at all! The most discouraging thing about that place is that makes me sad knowing there are people in this world that are just soooo unhappy and negative.

My best friend since kindegarten is home on leave from the Air Force. He's an airman first class and will be deployed to Iraq in late August. Being the gunner on a helicopter, he has a tough and extremely dangerous job. I'm so glad I took the whole week off of work so I can spend as much time with him as possible...I'm going to freak out when he starts his tour. We had a great party tonight with all our friends from high school. Tomorrow night is a family BBQ. I really enjoy these times together:D

My first Tom Petty album was the Anthology collection. My second was Wildflowers. My third was Echo. I can think of no better progression into Tom's work. I think Echo's brilliance comes from the fact that it is so honest. It's depressing but there a unique beauty in that. I love putting it on in the car and taking a long country drive, especially in the winter. Great, great CD!
