  1. WTF? I'm sorry, but "low-income and minority" people are not the only ones in this country that eat at fast-food establishments. Our nation's probelm with obesity is not going to solve itself this way. It's MUCH more complicated, cultural you could even argue.

I'm all for healither living, absolutely. This is a real problem that needs solving, but taking alcohol away from an alcoholic just doesn't automatically cure them of the disease, does it? No!

We have a much bigger fish to fry in this country than can be found at Long John Silvers. C'mon people - let' get real and not think that a temporary, absurd solution like this is going to help anyone.

    Sheesh.

    *steps off soap-box* lol! ;)

  2. I'm a long-time fan of the X-files and had a little girl crush on Mulder...nevertheless, this somehow doesn't surpise me. He just kinda struck me as the horn-dog type. LOL!

Kiiiiiinda makes me wonder if this is a publicity stunt, though.

  3. To add to the "World's Dumbest Criminals" file. :011:

Proof that instant karma DOES exist! Honestly, not everyone in my town is this dumb!

Flames burst from an overturned Acura Integra LS purportedly used in an attempted firebombing on East Oak Street on Wednesday night.

Witnesses at the scene told police officers the driver, Eduardo Plascencia, 29, of Woodland, tried to throw a Molotov cocktail out of the window when something happened and caused the device to explode inside the vehicle.

The vehicle sped down the street, eventually hitting an SUV and overturning. The driver was partially ejected during the impact.

A by-stander, Tyler O'Connell, pulled the man to safety while also attempting to extinguish the man. Plascencia was life flighted to UC Davis Medical Center with third degree burns covering his body.

Cpl. Jack Schubert reported the incident occurred around 8 p.m.

Schubert reported the driver verbally identified himself as "Eddie Valencia."

Schubert stated that witnesses reported Plascencia had attempted to throw the firebomb at a home in the 1300 block of East Oak St. "During his attempt 'Valencia' had broke the firebomb container inside of his vehicle causing he vehicle to erupt into flames and ultimately causing the traffic accident," Schubert stated.
