I'd take my best friend to Madrid to to show hermy favorite hangouts, favorite restaurants, and shops. Definitely visit the Palace, the Prado, walk through the Parque de Buen Retiro. Maybe catch the 30min train to Alcala de Henares and show her my old apartment.

My last day at work is Nov 23. I have a meeting with my bosses tomorrow about a new "opportunity." They don't want me to leave but I'm just not so sure I want to stay. I'm ready for something new, different, and preferrably, something that has better pay and hours.

Tomorrow is my bestfriend's 21st birthday. We've known each other since kindegarten. I never thought he'd be celebrating the big day in Iraq a thousand miles away from his family and friends!
