yea we could definitely let it ride. no harm in that.

it does cost some money, but that is not really an issue. there are several things that I thought could develop over the years... 1. Articles, content, news, etc. I can't write content on my own without help. Not enough interest from the community. Who would really read it anyway? It would takes lots of time to generate unique content on new or old topics. We had some static content (gigography, mudcrutch history, etc) on the old site.. but nothing that is a big draw. 2. Photos everything is on facebook or instagram. little need for people to upload here since there are lots of other places to share/host. 3. Bootlegs Grey area at best. Torrent sites taking over. People are privately sharing easier than ever. 4. Meetups / Farm Fest Not enough activity for one anymore. People are meeting up in smaller and smaller groups. Drama over the years divides people.

Even during tours, things have slowed down a ton.

Every 4 months I go back and forth on this. It drives Marion crazy, haha. What is the future of mudcrutch.com? Where are we going with this? What would you like to see? Is facebook swallowing up communities? Is it worth keeping online? What do you think? Honest opinions welcome.

I guess the bottom line is that if you own property, and it has ever been on the market, there is a public paper trail. Most of these photos are older anyway and you have to imagine there are large differences now if you were to visit today.
