I know they would vary the setlist, eventually they are recording every show.
Really exciting to follow this, I even got up to watch the webcam a bit... It feels good to see the guys (although very little) on the screen... I think I'll go to bed again though :D Time difference is too big... I'm crazy for just have gotten up... haha

Awesome set! I like how all the Mojo sons are grouped together in the middle - get it all in one big shot! Can't wait for Summerfest!

^ Me too, Amy! I get a preview of Summerfest a few days earlier in St. Paul. I love the setlist with all the Mojo songs. Still hoping for Something Good Coming (please, please, please...).

What was the mystery Mojo song in the set? I Need to Know!
Reds Rocks & Roll Amphitheater was packed and as beautiful as ever on a perfect evening.
It was great to meet you, somewheredowntheroad!
Joe Cocker was amazing and had a good band. I must say that I am now a fan of the Cockerettes. This is my second concert this week with jumping (like actually getting airborne) involved. Official jump count: Joe Cocker = 10, Stephen Stills = 4, Tom or any Heartbreaker = 0.
The guys were tight and the audience was enthusiastic. Oh, Well was an unexpected great pleasure. Would have liked to hear (and see) more Benmont. Scott's harmonies soared. Do mustaches aid in harmonica playing? Mike effortlessly totally rocked the place. Tom was chatty and engaging and his vocals were right on.
There were 6 Mojo songs. Is the one with “The last time you’re going to hurt me” lyrics included in the known list? At least a couple of those are starting to grow on me.
Several times, I found myself not being able to believe what I just saw and heard, it was so good. Unfortunately, I must shake off the afterglow now, and make something of this beautiful day. Peace.

This is a dumb question, but does the webcam site provide sound? I checked it out last night and could see the stage, but didn't hear anything.

I love this set more than I do the night before. They got rid of the really tiresome YDHIF and plugged in a better GH, got rid of the awful Mystic Eyes and added American Girl and Oh Well.

^I agree with the Mystic Eyes comment. I've never been a huge fan of it but Tom always seems to play it for some reason. He must really enjoy it but does anyone have any idea as to why? (just somethin i've always been curious about)

I do love Mystic Eyes but a shorter version would be better. I LOVE Oh Well! They can play that for a nice long time. They do an amazing job with that song.

Boss - it was so nice to meet you, too. What a night - after travelling home, I am dead tired. I hope to write something tomorrow. Like you I was captivated by Joe Cocker and his band - wow! What energy. Loved it.
Tom and the boys rocked - just a few thoughts before my heavy lids close.
Tom walked on stage with a tailored long coast, red satin shirt and black pants, most likely velvet or plush corduroy – the bottoms flared and accentuated with buttons. His hair shorter than last time on tour, it framed his face – those eyes. Yes, he looked a year or two older, but damn the man looked good.
Is there anything more endearing than Tom’s smirk, that sly smile, those coy eyes? He came to the front of the stage, captivating us, making us follow him, everywhere – maybe for just two hours – but still he grabbed us and we wouldn’t let go.
Those close enough to see Mike’s hands, well do wonders ever cease? I don’t think so, changing from a 12-string to a Duisey to a Rick, cajoling, stretching them, bringing out their highest potential – sounds so divine one has to wonder.
His shoes look comfy. His patterned shirt fun. His forehead is getting higher; yet, his intensity shows no ebb.
Near the end of the show he motioned for the sound engineers to bring down something, his hands like a rollercoaster – would they finally get the clue?
As Refugee reached a crescendo, Ron was going full steam. Tom nuzzled up close to him – as we yelled, “Go Ron.” His lips slanted upward into a shy smile, just a touch. He’s a rock star and he doesn’t even know it.
Scott looked sharp in his grey silk suit. A few times he stepped forward, wanting to come out of his corner – and let his light shine. I wish he could just let go – I bet he does, too.
Steve Ferrone came out on the empty stage at about 7:20 to take a photo. He waved, and smiled when we yelled. That man has such power – does he ever lose a beat? Stray? I think not. I loved watching him sing along, like the rest of us, letting the music sweep over him.
Benmont - what an expression-filled face, highlighted, not hidden by that Fedora. Bobbing his head up and down, nodding in time, adding another layer of complexity to the music, harmonies – unique to complex – dissonant to simple. His hands touch, tickle, pound – each finger reaching perfectly for that next note, chord. His eyes capture the music, knowing its next steps – intensity personified.
While Joe Cocker played, Benmont stood on the side, his head nodding, smiling, admiring – his eyes tell us he’s in love with music – with its ups and downs, layers, jives, pounds, screams, whispers.

Their version of Mystic Eyes comes no where near the greatness that is the original Them version where as their Gloria exceeds Them's version. Mystic Eyes is dragged out for too freaking long
