Apparently somebody has proposed this; not sure where. I don't know how much good it would do.

^Yeah, I voted "not sure" on this one.

I say no. I'm so done with these religious fanatics! Why do these people keep trying to impose their thoughts and beliefs on every one else. I'll deal with my demons and you deal with yours!

I'm not sure about this. Usually those who go in to have an abortion already have their mind made up, and something like that might not change that. But there's a slight change that it could.

No one should be forced into it. I did vote 'not sure' as I think there are situations where it would be a good idea. Especially with the 3-D ultrasounds they have now and for those considering late-term abortions.
*On a personal note I was having numerous ultrasounds while pregnant with Griffin and although not 'forced' into them, I was told I should as it may be the only chance I have to get to know my baby. It did make him seem more 'real' to me and helped me realize he was worth fighting for regardless of his limitations.

I voted no. It should be offered, but I don't think it should be mandatory.

No. No one should be forced by federal or state law to look at an ultrasound if they do not wish to do so before having an abortion.

What if a law like this was passed and the woman still refused to look at the ultrasound. What should the consequences be? The doctor refusing to perform the abortion even though it is legal? The proposal of a law like this which I've been reading about for awhile now is based on the opinions of people who are anti-abortion. Which has no place in the personal and medical decisions of women. This is ridiculous.

I agree with you Epiphany. I also have read that they are trying to get this law passed. I am so fed up with the religious right trying to monitor the rest of us. They need to just worry about their own souls and leave the rest of us alone.

I voted not sure only because there are some women out there who use abortion like birth control. I was absolutely aghast when I told someone at work what doctor I was seeing, and she said her friend has had ALL her abortionS by that doctor!

As for making it a law, NO F-ING WAY!:013:
