When we left the lake after our June trip, we forgot our cooler in their fridge (they stored it for the afternoon), and had to backtrack 50 miles to get it. We will NEVER do that again.

^ Oh you have one of those, too. I know what you mean, asakitten. :095:
To trust my gut feelings, everytime I let others sway me, I always regret it.

I will never forget to go back and let my dog in when my hubby is on his way home from work and will be opening the gate. OMG, I did it yesterday. He was misbehaving and wouldn't come in so I usually go back 5 minutes later and he'll come in. Well, I started doing other things and forgot him. :icon_frown: Hubby left the gate open because we were going out to dinner. When I realized what I did, I panicked! I opened the door and there he was waiting for me. What a good boy for not running off. Thankfully, he must have been out walking the field when Rick came through. All was well, but I won't be doing that again. :icon_cry:

I recently forgot to add extra postage to a 39-cent stamp on a birthday card! First-class postage is now 41 cents. I didn't get the card back for the extra postage, so either the blunder was never discovered (I can only hope), or my friend's mother paid the extra 2 cents in order to receive her own birthday card!:icon_redface: Being a Postal worker, I may never live this down, but I mainly process third-class mail through high-speed machines. There are other jobs more related to postage issues. I should know what happened this coming week when I talk to my friend Sandy.
Too often, I fail (or forget) to trust my intuition. I can see through most people as if they were made out of glass. Yet time and time again, I will give them the benefit of the doubt...knowing somebody's gonna get burned....usually me.
