So, tell us, do you garden? And if you do, what do you love to plant?

Nope, I don't garden. The most I'll do is go out and pull up weeds and stuff like that. That's about it for me.

A few fruits trees, blueberries, currants, black raspberries..I love just planting new kinds of flowers....new varitites of tomatoes.....I have a small cutting bed I plant flower seeds so I can cut arrangements for the house...ooooo I could go on and on....I love being out there....it is my little heaven....

I like to garden a little bit but the heat in Florida in the summer is so bad Pete and I are lucky to get the grass mowed. Then we're wiped out for the day.

No. For one, there is no room in our backyard, and second, me and mom kill every plant we try to plant. LOL

No..my daughter has a small one with my husband. We had a ton of tomatoes this year & even when I picked them it left my hands far to 'earthy' smelling.

I loved to garden, but the sun fries the yard every summer. I've planed things and all but a few things have died off. I gave up. When I move to a better climate, I plan to do it again.

I have tried but I tend to kill plants, even the grass! :(

No. Everything that I plant dies.

HAHA! Funny story, actually. My husband and I got a wild hair this year and tried to plant tomatoes, spinach, and cucumbers in pots and put them on our back deck (we have an apartment - no gardening). We after months and months the only thing fruitful of that endeavor was a tiny little cucumber no bigger than your palm. Everything else dried up and died. :(

Plants come to my house to die, lol. We do have a small garden, though; this year we had some very good arugula and some reasonably good tomatoes.

No I don't garden. I appreciate nice gardens, but I don't like getting my hands all dirty and icky, plus, I hate all the creepy crawlies that show up in the earth. Yuk.

I love a garden, but I don't know that I love to garden.

Fortunately for me, my husband loves to garden. I "assist" - that is, I help pick out plants and then sit around and talk while he does the work. (Before you think I'm lazy, that's the way he likes it.)

We currently have a very small courtyard, but it's full of all kinds of stuff. We change out the flowers twice a year (for our two seasons, hot and not as hot). And then we have some perenials, like plumbego and jasmin, along with some ficus trees.

I wish we could have a vegetable garden, but there's no place for it.

Whatever the opposite of a green thumb is, I have. LOL gardening and me don't go together.

I wouldn't call it a garden. We have put in some plants. We work on the land...
cutting and burning cedar trees
pruning limbs and dealing with weeds in grass. With over 6+ acres, it's lots of work and we've only cleared about 1.5. It took me 2 full days using the weedwacker to cut the grasses.

Yes, we have a large garden. My retired in-laws help with it. Every year we plant tomatoes, peppers, basil, oregano, eggplant, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, watermelon, and cantaloupe. We also have cherry trees, pear trees, blackberries and raspberries. Our apple tree is a goner as of this summer. I want to plant another one. I love being out there!

Yes, I enjoy gardening, errr, puttering in a garden. Used to own a house in Tennessee with many beautiful plants: hydrangea, lily, iris, roses, dianthus, astilbe, crocus, tulips, and more. Even grew some vegetables. Now I live in an apartment in Michigan and am garden free...except for the 10 house plants, and occasionally purchased bouquets of flowers. I'd like to have a garden again some day.

No, but I'd like to someday if I have a little land.

I love to garden. My mom and I planted a LOT of flowers (just ask Steph, she's seen them! :D) and we have a vegetable garden. We also planted strawberries, and we have an apple tree.

I love too, I take care of all the flower beds and pots. I don't mow the lawn, thats my hubbys job. I miss my grandfather, he was my adviser, he would nag me if my yard looked shitty.
