That we need a witness to APPLY for a marriage license, and that I had to make an appointment for it, as well. It costs $28, and takes at least 72 hours to be processed. So it looks like the earliest possible date for our quickie wedding with my schedule and all that, would be September 10. We shall see.

That both Frank's and my birth certificates were too old. The lady at Vital Statistics actually considered Frank's an antique, and he's only 52! Luckily, she accepted them, anyway. Since I'm from the city where we applied for the marriage license, I paid the five bucks and got a brand-spanking new one! I looked at my friend Sandy and said I guess you'll need a new one, too!;) I never knew you're supposed to get new ones! The DMV didn't care, so that was good, but even Frank said 'You're not marrying the DMV'!

Frank's son Brian came by this morning for them to go get suits/tuxes, but he had to be at the tatoo shop by noon, and that's when the men's store opened, so they're trying again tomorrow. Now that we have our rings, I don't care if Frank goes naked!:p I better warn Sandy so she doesn't show up in jeans!
Brian and his wife Shannon are getting us a wedding cake. I'm really touched by that. Charlie Brown's will let us bring that in.
Also, there was an open house at Frank and his ex's today, and someone's interested, but it's waay too early to get our hopes up. I won't believe anything's real there until Frank has a check in his hand!

I learned that the substitute marked me absent for 3rd hour yesterday even though I was there, so I got a call home to my parents that I was skipping 3rd hour. Luckily I was able to straighten that out with my teacher, and the "absence" was removed from my record.

I learned The Cult is playing the same week that I already have FOUR concerts planned. I wonder if it would be insanity to try to go....
I also learned that in Houston, The Cult is playing in a 1500 person venue and in London they are playing in a 12,000+ person venue (Wembley Arena). I think that's really strange.
