I don't think I've said that in a long time. Probably when the kids were young. My youngest is 29!! hahaha!

Amazingly, I have never said that to my kids. I'm sure I will when we hit that "why can't I" age, but at 6 years old, Brett hasn't gone that route yet. Right now my catch phrase is "when you're whining I can't hear you" or "You get what you get, don't whine about it" :)

Just recently... And like Connie..."I'm your mother; yes, you have to do what I say." I love it when my daughter says...."You're not the boss of me." lol I'm always quick to reply..."Oh yes I am!!"

I don't think I've ever said it out loud, but I say it silently in my head all the time, usually followed by a "dammit!"
