Wasn't going to post another review of Keith's shows...I had posted a review of his Aug. 15th concert at the Continental Arena in NJ already. But this show was so completely different....WOW!!!

Keith is not only an amazing guitar and keyboard player....he has that way of making each show for his fans a new and exciting experience!! He still had that lighted walkway leading to the small stage...this time I was right in front of that!! My sister had a great seat to the left of the stage, this time.

At the Continental Arena show..I had posted a faint heart beat had started (at the beginning of the show) and got louder...louder....when suddenly Keith appeared being lifted up on a small platform in front of the screen with the heart logo from his new cd. This time..this show....DJ Debonair was finishing up with his cool blend of rap, rock and roll using Elton's song...Philadelphia Freedom!! Of course....we are in Philly, yay!!! The lights go out and this song gets louder...louder.....by now the whole crowd is going crazy!! The lights come up to that walkway....there is Keith in the middle of that walkway!!! Pretty darn dramatic!!! We are all on our feet!!! Goosebumps big time, ha!!

Keith's band makes everything look so effortless...but these guys are some of the best musicians around!! The songs this show were the same as the Continental...with one new one added. The next to the last song during the encore...Keith and his band took turns ripping and wailing to Steve Miller's Space Cowboy!! Man, that sounded so good!!!!!!!

A funny moment at the show.....Keith was at his keyboards.....slowly down the pace a little...serious look on his face. All of a sudden he gives a look of shock then starts laughing!!! "Take off my pants??!!" he says......hahaha, someone in the audience called that out. Barb, were you in Philly this night?...hehehe....I love how Keith is so in tune with his fans and aware of the crowd.....he is just so real.....

Another great show of great music.....thank you, Keith Urban and band!!! Please come back to Philly again real soon............. 8)

Beth, nice pictures and review! I missed your other review, I'm sure that was a good show as well. I'm so glad you and your sister had a great time. I am going to have to make a point of seeing Keith Urban one of these times he comes through Sacramento. The only reason I didn't this time is because it was at that stupid Arco Arena. I wish the hell they'd tear that place down. There's so many other nice venues in this town. Thanks for sharing your fun evening with us.

I'm thinking the same thing Beth...Was Barb there? LOL!

Great review Beth. Next time he comes through I have to see him! Sharon's right that darn Arco Arena sucks. We have other venues, I wish they would quit booking arco.

Awesome, Beth! When James and I saw him in San Diego, were right next
to the walk that led out to that satellite stage. Up close and personal with
Keith! Yessss!!! So glad you got to see him again, Beth. He is just incredible!

Hey Beth,

Nice review....and lucky you seeing Keith twice in a week! :041:

That is a sweet setup with the stage extending out into the audience. I'll be checking out Keith next time he comes this way! Sounds like a great show and I'm glad you and your sister enjoyed them!

So glad you shared both of these great concerts with us, and thanks for the pic's too!
