LONDON, September 29 (UPI) -- British rock 'n' roll icon Robert Plant said he has no plans to tour or record with Led Zeppelin, contrary to media reports stating otherwise.

Plant, who is wrapping up his tour with U.S. bluegrass singer Alison Krauss, called rumors that he planned to reunite with his iconic former band Led Zeppelin "frustrating and ridiculous," the BBC said.

"Contrary to a spate of recent reports, Robert Plant will not be touring or recording with Led Zeppelin," said a statement released to the British broadcaster by the singer's representatives. "Anyone buying tickets online to any such event will be buying bogus tickets."

The band reunited on stage in London last December for a one-night-only concert. The gig rekindled fans's hopes that the band would get back together to tour or record new material. Some of the other members of the band have also been quoted in the media as saying they would like to work together again, however, Plant said hehas no plans to be a part of any future collaboration with the guys.

"It's both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward," Plant's statement said. "I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects."
