Seems like everyone is coming out with a book:

TRAVELING WILBURYS BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT
In the week that the long-awaited re-issue of The Traveling Wilburys Volumes 1 and 3 went on sale, Genesis Publications is pleased to announce a long overdue limited edition book on the world's greatest supergroup.

Expected for publication in Autumn 2007, the limited edition Traveling Wilburys book will present a trove of unseen photos and memorabilia from the Harrison estate archives. These will sit alongside classic photos of the band with text drawn from interviews given by the various Wilburys all over the world.

It's great, but also odd isn't it? All this focus on TPATH and the TW's after all this time.

some desk jockey at genesis probably heard the wilburys on the radio and though.. "oh gee we should re-release some stuff!"

hey, if they can re-release things like "Knight-Rider" and people buy it, why not The Wilburys. (not to compare the two, lol)

Cool! At least we got some items to look forward to this Fall.
Your right people will buy anything, heck look what KISS & Gene Simmons has done.

As with the new TPATH book, am wondering if we'll see it in the stores here or if I'll have to order from the US yet again.

How exciting! Saturday before last on a weekend segment on CNN they were running a story on The Traveling Wilburys. My sister called me and I just caught the very end of it. Did anyone happen to catch this?

if it's "done in the wilbury way" as jeff would say, i'll bet the pages are some exotic paper with 24K gold edges and the hardback is leather with 24K gold lettering. so be prepared to spend $500 for the book....lol. i'll be waiting for it to hit the stands, but what i'd really like to see, is olivia release a multi dvd set with all the wilbury get togethers and recording sessions. now that would be something!

I wish I hada copy too. That would be one gooood read. In "Conversations with Tom Petty" he mentions that George once borrowed a photo album of snapshots taken during Wilbury sessions and that Olivia gave it back to him recently. He says he was so glad to get it back.

Wouldn't those photos make a marvelous book too...
