Mean Mick Jagger

- Sir Mick Jagger is mean with his money, according to son James.
The 22-year-old aspiring actor has to work hard because his millionaire rock star father won't share his fortune with him.
James said: "I've got quite a tight dad! I know a couple of people who are quite rich, and compared to them, I've never really had anything much of an allowance.
"I've always had a summer job, and my first car was a banger I had to save up for. Dad was brought up to work for what he has, so it's always been that way for me."
James knows he will eventually get his hands on a substantial amount of cash from dad Mick, but isn't looking forward to that day because it will mean his father has passed away.
He added: "I'm sure one day I'll have a bit of money - but having it will mean my dad has died, and obviously that's something I don't want to think about."

Well good for Mick! I say more of these celebrity parents should be that way with their kids. Then we wouldn't have a bunch of Paris Hilton's and Nicole Richie's running around.

That's great of Mick. Indeed better than James turning into a male Paris Hilton...

Dad is "mean"? LOL....yeah...parents suck. Actually, I've seen other wealthy parents do the same thing. It's good that they learn the value of money and hard work. What's sad is that some don't really try too hard because they know someday they'll have a lot of money. Yeah.....sometimes they turn into Paris Hiltons...or drug addicts... . I think money really benefits the kids when it enables them to buy a good education and/or helps them to develop their interests/careers.

Way to go, Mick! This could be the reason we don't read about son
James in the tabloids! Other wealthy parents could take lessons.

That is not mean...Mick is teaching his son the way of the world...you have to work for what you want. I know this.....well done, Sir Mick!

Well, I have an all new respect for Mick. I agree with Barb, we just don't read anything about his kids in the tabloids and that would be why.
