Would you ever do a vacation house swap with someone, in lieu of staying in a condo or a hotel, where they’d come and live in your house for their vacation, and you’d go and live in their house for a vacation?

Thats strange !! I mean I have, as many of us do, many personal things in the house that I don't want to share with the outside world. I sometimes think it might be fun just to sleep in a different room in the house. I'm thinking of camping in the backyard when my boys get older. Did that with my daughters when they were young. Maybe we'll sleep downstairs in the livng room.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to vacation here, lol. Maybe if I had a condo somewhere specifically for this purpose, but I wouldn't want anyone staying in my actual home if we weren't here. It would make me very uncomfortable.

I'm with you Nancy. I don't think I'd want anyone staying in my home, and I don't think it would matter whether I knew them personally or not, I still wouldn't be comfortable.

Under all conditions, absolutely not! First I would have to clean like the dickens. Oh yeah! The pre-vacation clean. Then I would have to clear out all the sex toys, take the trapize down, hide all the rubber suits, and make sure the sado/masochistic whips and chains were put someplace where their children would not hurt themselves. I would have to hide all the crown jewels and stock certificates we have laying around the house. Frankly, it would be more work than it was worth. Then I would get to their house and wonder if they had cleaned. And I would spend the entire vacation looking for their toys and secrets.

I couldn't do it. I would be worrying about every little thing.

Depends on the person, but I'll never have to worry about it because nobody would want to stay in our sweltering apt. for any length of time.

i don't think so, besides, who would want to visit a town of about 800 dego's or dago's (never really learned how that's spelled....lol) that are all related!!!! the highlight here is sitting on the front lawn and waiting for the street light to come on...lol. but we do eat and drink good.
