Hello,
I am trying to sell my extra tickets to see mudcrutch at the Troubadour on Monday Thursday (5/1) and Friday (5/2). I'm trying to sell the 4/29 ticket on ebay, but no one seems interested. Bidding is still at 99 cents! I am a huge fan, but none of my friends want to go with me, and I don't know what else to do. Please email me at lwheidt@gmail.com if you are interested. I know at least someone out there will be mad about this post, but also some people will get my tickets and even out the karmic balence.
Peace,
Luke

hi, i'm glad to see you here and trying to help us farmers get tickets to the show. but to get the farmers to go to ebay and jack up the prices for your gain is not cool. just sell them here at 99 cents each or face value. btw, you never did mention how many tickets you have or where the seats are. are you a broker? we don't look kindly upon brokers. your ebay post say's "be one of the lucky 500 to get in", WTF is that about???

I'll handle this as the person who posted seems half-there - if that. One) only 500 people are going to be at any Troubadour show. Two) all shows are general admission, no assigned seats. Three) He clearly stated his intentions and purpose, he's not a broker. Four) He can only sell 1 ticket per show as he has to show up to claim his ticket with ID and credit card and the max amount of tickets you could buy for Troubadour was 2 per show.
Thank you.

You have one bid on your offer on ebay. Why shall we e-mail you? You must give it to the winner of your auction......

WTF, he can only sell 1 ticket per show, cuz he has to show up. WE ALL have to show up for tix and brokers work together in different cities, so someone should show up to make a buck and split the profit! you basically mother-fucked mudcrutch in you 1 st post and now praised them in your 4th post, wtf is with that? maybe you should go back to the official TP site and join all the wannabe's. cuz they are going nowhere just like you. stay away from here and i'll see what i can do to get you banned!!!!!!!

I just wanted to note that my ticket up for auction is for Monday 4/28 and not for 4/29.
Anyways here is my story.
On Friday April 1st I asked off of work for an extra five minutes at right before one o'clock so that I could try to get myself a pair of tickets to see Mudcrutch at the Troubadour. I got the two tickets for the 28th at 1:00 and twenty seconds. YES! Then at two o'clock we all took break at work and I went back to Ticketmaster to see if all the shows were sold out, and it was pure luck that they were selling two more days of Mudcrutch shows. I am a low level archaeologist working at a lab in LA as a temporary project. I am a classic rock loving Tom Petty fan, and I understand everybody's hatred towards evil scalpers. But, please note, I don't have friends here and nobody I know wants the tickets I have. I have no history of selling tickets, and as anyone can see I am having trouble selling these tickets.

^ I wish you the best of luck with the tickets. I think if you haven't sold your tickets online, take them to the venue, I believe you won't have a problem selling them there. :)

we have seen many people talk over the years about extra tix. if you want to get rid of them, just say it with the original cost or lower. you are having trouble selling them because no one knows you and doesn't know how to take it!

Nurktwin -
You are in need of some special counseling. At the very least, turn off your computer and go talk to a real human being and seek help: YOU ARE LOSING IT!
What kind of physcopath goes on a rampage about someone generously (or not) trying to sell a ticket to show? Of course they post in a forum full of fans.
As far as the "wannabe" posters, I've never heard anything so desperate and lame in my entire life. Thanks for filling that void.
Chill, relax, go find something to do - this forum is no good for you anymore and I speak for everyone when I say if anyone should leave, it should be you and your nasty, disgusting attitude.
Get better.
Wow! One of the coolest things about the farm is we all play nice even when we disagree.

I had an extra ticket for Venutra I sold at face value to someone looking for a ticket for their friend. We had people stopping by all day when we were waiting in line looking for tickets. Someone will snap it right up at the show.
