How good this track? This is easily one of the best written tracks by Petty and whoever else takes the credit on it, in a while.

Some great one liners on here, but that melody is a classic. The chorus is great too.

I enjoyed parts of Highway Companion, especially songs like Nightdriver and Down South, even though I prefer more of a Heartbreakers type record, but this one is very good.

The Las DJ was more of a concept/esperimental album, and was very good, but I wasn't in love with the whole thing across the board.

So far. I am likng what I am hearing here. I get the impression Mudcrutch is giving Petty, Mike and Benmont some free rein outside the pressure bubble, and we are going to get a different look with this Mudctutch matrial.

Almost like a Wilburys venture, but within the Heartbreakers direct circle.

Looking forward to the record, but this first single is a real gem.

I haven't heard it yet, waiting for the Cd. But I loved the last DJ CD. I thought that the intro to the song "last DJ" sounded alot like "bus stop" by the hollies !! I also liked "dreamsville".

You know, you're right! I never thought about that! The Last DJ was a great album.

Welcome to Mudcrutch Farm Griswold! :) Mike's solo on Down South is so cool and Night Driver is starting to grow on me. And I loved Scare Easy immediately as well.
