Help some out-of-towners out and suggest some places to sight-see near the venue.
Here is the map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&gl=us&ptab=2&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=109012144454606983588.00044a99adfd615c47244&z=13) I have so far...

Across the street from Grauman's is the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Just walk in and check out the lobby. It's beautiful, just as it was in the old days of Hollywood.
And of course there are the TPATH and Johnny Depp stars on the sidewalk down just a bit from the front doors.

Teresa, I's afraid I do, lol!!! Man, he was scary!
I wish I could have time to see everything...I do know Dan Tana's is right next door to the Troubadour.....Jackson and the Eagles and J.D used to hang out in one of those red leather booths.
Thanks for this map, Ryan.....

You can go find the TPATH star. It's not far from Grauman's on Hollywood Blvd. The Whisky A-Go-Go is on Sunset. Ameoba Music is on Sunset as well. You should go there Ryan. Being a fan of vinyl you would be like a kid in a candy store. That place is amazing!

tpath star is at 7018 hollywood blvd. check out the disney malt shop for an old fashioned chocolate malt in a 50's setting. across the street is a prominade with statues, fountains and shops and restaurants. and also, if you head north on N. highland, i think, you'll see the hollywood bowl on the left going up the hill. further up the hill is universal studios theme park. the city walk there is free to enter and wander around.
