Beware, these men may come to your door offering to blacktop your driveway or repair your roof at a discount with material they say is left over from another job in the neighborhood. They will overcharge for shoddy or incomplete work and may surreptitiously cause damage they then offer to fix for an additional charge. These men are wanted by the San Fernando Valley Better Business Bureau as well as the Sherman Oaks Women's Club (reason unknown). This long-running scam is apparently being used to finance the recording of a rock and roll record album which has taken over 30 years to complete. If you don't want your driveway sealed with used motor oil or your heart broken, politely but firmly decline their offer and do not let them in your home.
