Turns out Mom has a bacterial infection called seadif (sp?). I know that's shortened for something long... maybe one of the nurses on board can correct me?
Her chemo treatments will have to be put on hold for awhile naturally. She is not home yet... her dr. said MAYBE she would be able to come home today.. we will see. When she does come home, we are going to have to be VERY careful... as this is highly contagious.

fix computers. my daughters pc has a networking problem and can't get online. we had a planned power outage this morn and when the power came back on, there was a pop and now my main pc won't work at all, so i'm now using my backup pc. the main pc is protected with battery backup and extra surge protectors, but after fooling with it the past few hours, i'm beginning to thing that somehow the motherboard was fried. i called the electric company about it and the girl said no one is working in claims for the weekend, but they will call me in 3 business days!!!!! wtf is with that? needless to say, i'm a bit pissed off.
