Tim McGraw (http://www.x1063.com/iplaylist/artist/40295/?_show)'s new single With Def Leppard is slated to run during NBA broadcasts, CMT.com reports.

The new single - called "Nine Lives" - is the first single from Def Leppard (http://www.x1063.com/iplaylist/artist/4062/?_show)'s new album, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge and features Tim McGraw. The song and will play on ABC during the opening of NBA broadcasts through the rest of the season and during the playoffs on ESPN.

According to the Web site, McGraw and Def Leppard shot video footage last week in Los Angeles for the opening segments. The rockers became friends with McGraw after he made a guest appearance during "Pour Some Sugar on Me" at the band's 2006 Hollywood Bowl appearance.

The video debuts Sunday, March 9, before the NBA game between the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns.

Def Leppard's album is scheduled for an April 29 release.

I like Def Leppard, but I don't even know what to think about this collaboration.

Hmmm, could be interesting! But not interesting enough to make me watch an NBA game.
