Those were really good photos. I agree with you Wildgator--Darian is a spitting image of his Dad. You folks in California don't know how lucky you are to get to go to The Largo to see Benmont and then get to go see the DK up close and personal. I am sure that was a super show.

i had a chance to talk to darian for a few minutes at the knobs show in january, and he's really a nice young gentleman. he was with a few friends, and after we talked, he said "we're going outside for a smoke, wanna go?" i ended up staying inside the ballroom with my friends and then went into the backroom to meet mike, brian ray and all the knobs. we all talked with the knobs and took pix with them, it was just great. it's so nice that mike does this dirty knobs project so we can actually see him up close and then meet him after the shows. how many people do you know that do that? i'm still waiting to see if mike and jason do a song i mentioned to them that they could trade off lead guitar parts.....lol. btw, it's an instrumental by jeff beck, written by jimmy page for jeff called "beck's bolero".
