Saw this question at the other site and I thought it was fun to read everyone's responses.
How many TPATH concerts have you been to and in how many different states (or countries!)?
I'll go first, LOL
I can't count how many shows exactly, but I'm thinking it's probably between 20 and 25.
I've seen them in 7 states unless I'm forgetting any: California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado,
Wisconsin, New Jersey, Illinois.
How about you?

Probably around 10. Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, California and Florida. :)

i don't think i can count that high....lol.
I've only been to 3 shows in total: 1 in Illinois and 2 in Wisconsin. Not much for being a fan for nearly 32 years, but I've always had a lot of responsibilities which came first.
I have no plans to see them this tour.

Just 4 shows for me, believe it or not. TX and TN.
I saw them in college and then did not see them for years after becoming an "adult", lol. I just didn't do concerts for the longest time, even though I was obsessed with music. But joining these message boards in '06 changed that!

for all of you that are going to your 1st show, yes it will change you. if you are still in school, study hard, cuz you're gonna need a good job to afford following this band around the country for multiple shows in the future. it's not just the tickets anymore, it's flights, hotels, food and souvenir's. it's not easy being a tpath fan.....lol.

^ Exactly, I figured out the total costs for my trip to the US and for the two concerts Iīll go to... It will cost me (and now donīt fall off your chair) about $1.634! And Iīm still lucky since I donīt have to pay for food or a place to sleep. Iīm so lucky to have a brother in the US who makes this all possible at all. I wanted to visit the US this year anyway so Iīm lucky that they decided to tour this summer. Yes, I got lucky! :D
Wow, I still donīt realize that I will finally see the best band in the world. That has been one of my biggest dreams and I never had thought that the opportunity to see them would come so fast.
I never have seen them before and maybe this is my only and last chance to get to see them.

I have seen them 7 times in NC, VA, CA, and SC. I hope all of you have a great time at the shows this year. I couldn't work out the NC dates, and they outpriced what I would consider spending for a show in DC--I counted up what I would have to spend for gas, room, tickets, and food and decided that I might spend that money to see someone I've only seen once or never gotten the opportunity to see. Nurk is right about it getting costly.

I have a huge map on a bulletin board that I stick a pin in for every show I go to. It hasn't been updated since 2005 though, so I can't take a picture and post it here. But here's the next best thing:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&om=0&msa=0&msid=104599775414609727620.000445ec6a12d02e78290&ll=37.857507,-100.107422&spn=31.393756,86.484375&z=4
I'm counting 64, I include the Tonight Show, even though they only played one song. States include CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, IA, MI, MN, NV, NY, NC, OH, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA, AND WI.
**number of shows in noway reflects one's level of fandom**
Remember- I don't have a family that depends on me, a mortgage payment, a restricting job, (or a life). Not everyone can do what I've done, but that in noway makes them any less of a fan.

Nope, Marion, I've never seen them in Florida. I've always wanted to, and almost did one year but didn't. If it weren't for driving through Georgia I probabbly would have by now. I don't care what your maps say, that state is longer than California:) I've also always wanted to see them at the Gorge. One year hopefully, but not this year.
Yes, I have spent many nights sleeping in my car. I think the longest was 2 weeks straight. I went almost 2 years without a passenger seat in my car, mostly b/c I was too lazy to keep installing and then removing it again. There were times when I'd buzz my hair down before long trips b/c I knew I'd only be taking one or two truck stop showers a week (Anna said I reminded her of a pregnant woman that chops her hair off so she doesn't have to deal with it). It looks like I'll even sleep in my car once or twice this year.
I've thought about getting ticket stub books. Do you guys like them?

you're right zz, the 1st time i drove to florida was down rt 75 from dayton, ohio. that was the longest, most miserable drive of my life. i really didn't see anything but slums, the highlight was those shacks on the side of the road that hung out hams to get diesel smoked....lol. when we crossed the line into fla, it was like another world, white sand, palm trees and even the sun seemed to be shining brighter. we made a left turn onto rt 10 (i think) and got to jacksonville and then headed south along the coast to daytona where allah's 6 million virgins were going to party for spring break. never did find 1 of those virgins!! they were all used...lol.

The thing I really like about the book is I put all my tickets in there in order by date. It's fun flipping through the pages and taking a walk down memory lane. Sometimes I'm surprised by what I find....
I went to see 98 Rock's Perfect Hairball concert!
I saw Gary Puckett and the Turtles!
The first ticket I have in my book is for Eddie Money. I think that was my first concert. (4/7/89) Pretty sad, huh? I couldn't afford them back then. $17.50 was a lot of money to go to a concert! LOL!
I saw the Monkees a couple of times! They were great!
What do you guys have in your ticket collection?

I sure wish I saved my tickets from the beginning. My first concert was at the McCarter Theater at Princeton University. I saw the Beach Boys. In my ticket stub box, I have Jackson's...Moody Blues, Cream, Eric Clapton, Keith Urban....of course, now, I saved all of TPATH. :)
I should get that ticket book.....

Hmm...13 shows (excluding this tour coming up). Two in Toronto, two in Auburn Hills, two in Los Angeles, two at Darien Lake, two in Saratoga Springs, two in Chicago, and one in Hartford.
5 more upcoming shows for me this summer for a grand total of 18 shows.

Hmm, I have 17 Del Amitri shows, 8 INXS, 7 Journey, 5 ELO, 4 Rush, 3 Black Crowes, 3 Rolling Stones and only 2 TPatH. (But by August that will be 4!)
Marion, I LOVE the Monkees, too but never got to see them. I did get to see Davy Jones, though. Other notable and weird shows: DEVO, KD Lang, Adam Ant, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Koko Taylor, Chubby Checker, and Tom's preacher-man Little Richard. I could go on and on because I'm old and have lots of memories! Hahaha!
ANY COMEDY FANS ON THE FARM??? Let's hear about those shows!
I've seen Sinbad, Ron 'Tater Salad' White 3 times, 4 in April, he's touring. Emo Philips 5 times...be 6 next month, EMO is on tour, too. Billy Connally, Craig Ferguson, and Dennis Leary.
