I wonder why they haven't been to Europe in so long - I would think they'd sell out everywhere.

I think I'm gonna have to take a chance across the big, blue ocean. I'll probably regret it for life if I don't.

i hope tom and the boys do an european tour for all of you, it's soooo over due. personally, i think they will just do the states from now on. even though they have money, the cost of a tour today brings them little money if any at all. years ago, the record companies made you sign a contract for basically nothing and made the money. for a band to make money, they had to tour. todays costs on that and everything else are out of hand, and unless you are super rich and WANT to do a little gig for free, it's all out of the question. like it or not, money rules.
btw chrissie, never give up, you may wake up someday and find a tpath tix and flight pass to the USA to see tom in your mailbox.

I wish you would be able to come with me, Wildy... that would be so much fun! I would also feel much more comfortable with somebody going with me... but I will go to my second show ALONE :095:... Hysterically-madly in love-MJ alone at a TPATHB concert... that will be a catastrophe! :D
I really donīt know if I can handle that... Iīm really scared that I will faint... Iīve never fainted in my life but... god... :icon_neutral: This will be so emotional for me... the moment I will see Tom... god!

Yeah, what would happen if I came to a concert with TPATH ?
I'd probably scream like one of those girls, attending Beatles live. Or I would cry my eyes out. Yet, it's better that way. I'll remain conscious.

What Mary Jane writes about is quite true. Everytime I say " Tom Petty " here in Denmark, people tend to ask :
" Who is that ? " Even my father and mother and others who were young in the 70's and 80's. Isn't that a pity ?
I wonder if I'll ever see the new Mudcruth CD in this small country...
Why tour somewhere when people don't know who you are ?
Welcome Salfordian !

Hello folks in Europe!
Well, I just listened to Bob Harris` show on BBC2 (he is my favourite DJ ever), he played Mudchcrutch last Sunday and said, that this airplay might be a step to persuade them to this side of the Atlantic...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/bobharris/
Letīs believe in the magic of Bob Harris....and hope...
By the way Hope is my middle name...:003:

I want Tom petty to scandinavia (Im Swedish but i can travel to Denmark, Finland or Norway if needed).
I heard a rumour he would come to Way out west, festival.
But it seems unlikely even though Neil young will appear.

NO, i don't think so. after 35 years and multiple groups they play in, i think they are very happy right here. as lewis black says, "you'll have to get off your island and push it closer to us"....lol. i really do wish every one here can see them this tour, cuz it's really great.
