I think I know of 3 people who are going. One doesn't post here much, and the other two are very busy with their jobs.

I hope they see this and reply. :)

Hello,
My first post. Noticed Woodlands - we're neighbors (sort of). Due to work schedule, I had to get tickets for the show in Selma, TX. Would rather see these amazing artists closer to home but, what the heck. I'll drive west - it'll be my first experience to see them live. So excited! Enjoy the Woodlands performance - the pavilion there is an excellent venue.

dear_des, we'll see you there, then! I'm in Row A or B. I'll decide which row when I see what Row A seats I get from WB (I won tickets at the RDAD screening).

Poppiesgal, I'm going to Selma also. Maybe we'll have a get together there, too.

Kyle, in 2006 we got together at the bar in the Marriott. It was a good location, so probably that will be the place to go again. I'll start a PM closer to the time and get everyone's ideas.

Hi Kyle and Dear des - I will also be at the Woodlands and also at Selma. Last tour, Lizzy and Kay did a great job of finding us a meeting place at that cute bar in the Woodlands. They had a TP & HB video playing on plasma tv prior to the concert. As far as hooking up in Selma, there are no bars close by. I'm thinking it might be a good one for tailgating. Just a thought (OMG - I sound like my boss). The only time I was there was 4 - 5 years ago when it first opened and TP was first to play there - the parking lot hadn't even been paved. Anyway - it's so fun to think about upcoming shows.

Texas fans had a fun time getting together in '06. I look forward to doing the same again!

dear_des - The Woodlands is north of Houston, about 30 miles from Downtown. It's definitely best to stay out in that area and not in town. And it looks nothing like Houston, which is a good thing, lol. Just be ready for the heat, though! I really don't understand at all why they come to Texas in August.

Yes, I have memories of a summer cold, fever, drinking too much, and head butting the woman standing nest to me (not on purpose) during MaryJane's Last Dance. Barf Boy had to run inerfearance after that. Such a good man! We had a great time meeting before the concert. I know others met up after show but I was toast after wine and one of those foot long margaritas. Yahoo! Ready for more!
