Yes, I use it in the car - I have an aux jack and can play it through my cd player. I LOVE it, especially on long trips.

I'm glad all who have them like them. I must be low tech. Maybe Santa will bring one for Christmas. Do you have to pay to download music or can you load off your cds? Likely great as an inhibitor to talking with passengers on planes.

No, and I don't want one. I have a Dell Pocket DJ, which I don't even know if they still sell anymore, but I'm very happy with it. It helps get me through repeated tedious tasks I have to do on my mail sorting machine at work. My old computer wasn't compatible with an iPod, so I got what WAS compatible with my computer! And music is fine, but I have no intention of watching anything on a 2" screen!

Kira - As much as you travel, I think you'd get hooked on one quickly. And, yes, you can download your own CDs to it.

Yes and I love it. I never thought I had a need for one, but how wrong I was! No more unorganized cds in the car and mowing is FABULOUS now! lol
