Name the designs, characters or messages depicted on your seven favorite coffee mugs/tea cups/glasses?

There are alot of coffee cups/mugs here..but I seem to use the same one. A friend gave me a gift card from Starbucks last Christmas...I bought a pretty flowered cup.....it is white with blue and pink and lime green flowers...and a butterfly....

The one in my hand at the moment is a "Krispy Kreme" mug that a friend
gave me when she bought stock in the place. She made a fortune right
after that. Hey, I just realized, with all money she's got, she should be
upgrading this mug soon! LOL

I have some really pretty cheap, cups with painted fruit designs. The colors are beautiful. I love my TPATH special Fanfire package cups from the last tour. I have a lot from vacations -- Confusion Hill, Pismo Beach, Bodega Bay, etc.

Most of the cupGlasses in my house are plastic so the kids can use them but my mug is black on the outside with blue on the inside.

I love dishes and glassware!!!! But I don't collect individual mugs, cups or glasses (call me boring).

1. The mugs I use the most are part of a pottery set from Pier 1 which has a navy, dark rose and yellow Italian design. They are great for lattes and I love the colors.

2. I have a beautiful set of blue water goblets with a raised scrolly design that I use with the Pier 1 dishes. They make a very pretty table with the pottery and dark rose placemats.

3. I use the mugs from my everyday Wedgewood china for regular coffee. They have a raised grape leaf design. I've had this china for 23 years and I love it as much as the day I got it.

4. I have a set of Lenox Marquis crystal that I love. It's just plain stemware, but very thin and delicate. We use it mostly for wine.

5. I also have a set of Dansk footed iced beverage glasses. They're plain also, but have a very pretty inverted bell shape.

6. I rarely use the cups from my Lenox china, but I love those the most because they are so pretty. They are in the Presidential shape, if you know about Lenox.

7. I truly love my Lenox crystal stemware, but I only use it with the Lenox china for special occassions. It's heavy cut crystal and I have wine, water, iced tea glasses and the flat champagne bowls. It's georgeous.

Sorry if I bored you. I could go on and on about my dishes, lol.

I generally use one of the oversized mugs we got from the Tahoe Biltmore or Cal-Neva Lodge. I used to kinda-sorta collect mugs, but now I really don't bother.

I have a nifty mug from my drycleaners... and I have a cool brown mug with a moose on it. I have no idea where that one came from. We have a lot of weird mugs!

I have a best mom mug and a turtle mug and a Stawberry Shortcake plastic cup that nobody else is aloud to touch. IT'S MINE!!!!

Hey, LizzieB..I collect china, too...and have some old sets from my grandmother....German, Wedgewood...old white English Ironstone...Fire King...cut glass...sherry sets.....chocolate sets, coffee sets....I bought alot of it when we first bought this house....the prices have gone up on so many things now..yep, I could go on and on about my china, yellow ware bowls, graniteware...hahaha...

I seem to use that same cup for coffee though....

I have 4 mugs - 2 of them have the Beatles on them. My Grampy gave me another one as a get well present a few years ago, and the other one is a mug that my best friend made for me before she moved.

Not a coffee or tea drinker, but I do have one with some friends and I at Red Rocks that I love! A Hawaii one and then Christmas holly tall ones for hot chocolate in the winter. The rest of the mugs match my dishes.

1. My favorite mug ever: The blue Cheshire Cat with a red toothy grin. When you put hot liquid in it, only the grin remained! I had that forever, until it didn't work anymore.

2. My current favorite mug is one Frank gave me. It has a picture of two child angels, and the boy one is kissing the girl one. It's actually quite a famous picture, but I can't recall the details.

3. A Christmas mug that my friend Tybie gave me, with a cartoon depiction: 'A cement truck collided with a paddy wagon, and now police are on the lookout for seven hardened criminals'

4. Another fave is one my father was given by his two grandsons, mainly 'cause it's so big: 'Grandpas are Dads Without Rules'

5. My mother had the Nescafe' world mug and pot set, clear glass containers with a white earth grid on them. I still have the pot.

I've got three worth mentioning:

1) I painted myself - blue/yellow

2) A mug from wildrosepress a friend sent me. It says "Writers never go to bed angry...they stay up and plot their revenge."

3) A mug that...well, it's clear plastic and has a removable guide....you remove the guide, and use it to create your own design. Instead of following the guide, I pushed various sayings and bookmarks I've collected in and it looks mighty fine.

I despise mugs! My parents keep buying them and they don't fit in the cabinet, so it bugs the hell out of me. But my favorites are ones that say "life's a bitch and then you die", "you'd drink too if you had my job", and just a green one with a tree on it.

I have one big coffee mug that I love. My niece bought it for me when she went to NYC this past summer. It's purple and it's a souvenir from the play The Color Purple. I had another one with a big fat cat on it, but this one has replaced that.

I also have my favorite glass that I drink water or diet pepsi out of. It doesn't have anything on it, it's just like the way it's shaped.
