I think those two "flaws" cause most of the problems in the world.I used to hate - I hated my uncle for suing my mom for over a million dollars 3 months after my dad died - I hated him for tearing my dad's side of the family away from us when we needed them the most - I hated him for making money more important than me, my mom and sisters.... All that hate was emotionally exhausting. I got to a point where I couldn't do it anymore and I decided that my energy was better spent elsewhere on positive things in life. So that's what I do - I don't waste my time and energy hating and being negative about anything in life - it definitely doesn't get you anywhere and it certainly doesn't make you happy or make your life better in any way.

Amazingly in life, since I changed my outlook and always focus on the positive of any situations, I have had incredibly wonderful experiences and wonderful things happen to me in life - emotionally, family, health wise, work related, financially, etc. - even in little things such as presales :D

Let the hate go - it's the only way to truly find joy in life.

Not only that, but it's entirely false. :095: Paul and John would never have done that to Ringo (they were all like brothers, and they've all said that at one point or another), and they didn't need to take the credit for Ringo's song. They're Lennon/McCartney for crying out loud! They could write their own damn songs. And if they did take the song from Ringo, he probably would have left the band right then and there.

It took everything I had to keep my mouth shut for most of her bull crap "facts", but I called her on the "stealing the song from Ringo." :rolleyes: She told me she read it in this book (and unauthorised biography, btw) and that Ringo himself said it. I don't know what dope she was smoking, but he never said that. I went to see him in concert, and he introduced the song as "the one my mates John and Paul wrote for me". I hated the dream I had last night of my parents... parts I remember; my mom was laying there like she was the day she died, I was looking into her eyes, knowing she was going.. and I kept calling to her, and she snapped out of it all of a sudden, said "I'm alright.. I'm alright..." and she WAS alright. Then the other part was I was somewhere like a party or a club, having a good time, I was happy... and all of a sudden I saw my parents enter and I was calling to them, as I started to make my way over to them.. but I couldn't get to them.. and they were smiling and waving at me, and I was smiling and waving back, the whole time trying to get to them, but I couldn't. And then I said to someone, although I didn't see who it was, I said "I can't get to my parents!!! Why can't I get to them!?"

^ Thanks, everyone. Our company announced a worldwide layoff of FORTY PERCENT of the workforce! :eek: The layoff itself was not unexpected, but the severity of it is. Hopefully, my group is OK for now; I certainly think we're safer than some other groups. The real bleeding is initially expected at corporate headquarters in Germany.

Whats up with all of us and our migraines/headaches??? I get them all the time too. I hate them and wish no one would ever have to suffer with them. They are just horrible. Ive had one myself today too. Hope everyones head feels better!


I hate how my parents are always saying "Your smart, but your brothers really smart, he just didn't apply himself in highschool" If he was so damn smart, you think he would have figured to work for better grades. My coach seemed prouder of my making top ten while traning for a marathon more than my parents. Its ridiculous, Im going to save them a bunch of money when I get a scholarship,unlike my "smart" brother. They should be happy. Sorry but I had to vent about that.

Price you pay for being the stronger sibling, but at least in our case, it has all worked out in the end for all the siblings. They're projecting their worry about your brother onto you. Shianne - my parents used to say the same to me about my brother being smart but not applying himself. This was usually after reading numerous emails from his teachers and they needed to vent. I guess they hoped that I would relay their message to him and he would wake up and start taking his school work seriously. Maybe your parents are doing the same to you??
