Okay, I need help remembering a TPatH show I went to that had the most awesome guitar solo. I'll NEVER forget that solo but can't remember which tour it was. It had to have been late 80's or early 90's. Mike would play a riff on one guitar and then it would repeat that riff and he would place it on a guitar stand with the riff repeating over and over. Then we would go to the next guitar, play a different riff, and place that one on a stand. He had 3 or 4 different guitars by the time he was done and they were all repeating. It was so amazing!!! Did anyone else see this or remember this or am I going completely crazy. I'm almost positive it was Mike Campbell and not another band. However, I am getting to an age where my memory fails me quite often. :)

You are not going crazy. Not in the least. :)
Yes I remember it well as I have watched that particular guitar orgy over and over again a million times. One of the greatest things I've ever seen Mike the Rock Guitar God do. It's from the 1991 tour when they were promoting "Into The Great Wide Open". You can see it on the video cassette "Take The Highway Live" which I bought on eBay a few years back. It was filmed at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno Nevada Nov. 23rd and at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland California Nov. 24th. I now also have it on DVD as someone from another board was kind enough to transfer it from the cassette to a DVD and send it to me. Same video quality though.
Check on eBay as I'm sure that someone from time to time will be selling it. :)

Thanks so much Epiphany for confirming that I'm not crazy and jogging my memory ...and nurk for pointing me to the Christmas download. It must have been the show I saw at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, CA. It was the closest I ever sat at a TPatH show (Row T). Another GREAT memory from that show was Psychotic Reaction by Stan. I'm listening to it right now. THANKS!! Can't wait to listen to the rest of the download.
