Hi Everyone,
I found this site and liked it so much, I registered! I'm sure you all have heard this before but I have loved Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ever since they broke out in the 70's. As a teenager I was so enamored, I wanted to marry them all! I instantly related to the music, lyrics and vibe. I recently received the gigography, 'Runnin' Down A Dream' and was mesmerized... and I've only watched the first disc! I felt as if I were reliving my youth and falling in love all over again with a truly great band and the really cool people who made and make it happen. I realize I have more to learn about one of my all time favorite bands. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers not only deserve respect, they've earned it!
Being a newbie, I'm still learning about and exploring the site so please, be gentle. I hope to make friends and perhaps meet a kindred spirit or two in the quest for all things Tom Petty.
