Bruce Springsteen (http://www.livedaily.com/artists/43.html) and the E Street Band continue to assemble their US spring jaunt, one date at a time.
The latest additions to the schedule are February and March shows in Hartford, CT, and Rochester, NY, respectively. Previously revealed spring dates are also booked in Buffalo, NY; St. Paul, MN; Anaheim, CA; and Atlanta, GA. The itinerary and on-sale dates are listed below.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will continue the first leg of their tour tonight (11/15) in Albany, NY. The US portion is due to wrap Monday (11/19) following a two-night stand in Boston, after which Springsteen and company will head to Europe for a nearly four-week trek. Overseas shows can be found at The Boss' website (http://www.brucespringsteen.net/).
The outing, which has expanded as shows have sold out along the way, is Springsteen and the E Street Band's first full-scale tour of the US and Europe since 2003. It launched Oct. 2, the same day their new album, "Magic," hit the streets.
"Magic" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and then reclaimed the top spot three weeks later. The set is Springsteen's first new studio recording with the E Street Band since 2002's Grammy-winning, multi-platinum album "The Rising."
On tour, Springsteen is joined by E Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan, saxman/percussionist Clarence Clemons, keyboardist Danny Federici, guitarist Nils Lofgren, vocalist/guitarist Patti Scialfa, bassist Garry Tallent, guitarist Steven Van Zandt and drummer Max Weinberg.

The seats are in the back of the arena but they are at worst 3rd row lowers (maybe better, the chart is hard to figure out) and for Bruce that ain't bad. You ladies are going to have the time of your lives and I am going to be driving you nuts about it for the next 5 months!! ;)

It wasn't me. I kept getting GA seating and then the 400's (way nose bleed). Ellyn is the one with the Bruce saavy. She deserves all the credit. She kept telling me to refresh the page because this show is selling out fast and she thought they would add another date. And sure enough, they did.
Hooray for Ellyn! She triumphed over Ticketbastards and took on The Boss!

With one show left on their 2007 North American tour, Bruce Springsteen (http://www.livedaily.com/artists/43.html) and the E Street Band continue to roll out dates for another run across the continent early next year.
The veteran rockers have been announcing 2008 shows in drips and drabs, with the latest additions comprising March shows in Hamilton, Ontario; Milwaukee; and Vancouver, British Columbia. Tickets for the Hamilton and Milwaukee shows will hit the box office during the coming week; an on-sale date for the Vancouver show was not available at press time. Details are listed below.
In addition to penciling in the aforementioned handful of new shows, strong ticket sales last weekend in Anaheim, CA, prompted the group to add a second consecutive night in that city, as well.
Springsteen and company are due to wrap up their current North American outing tonight (11/19) in Boston. From there, the group will tackle a European tour that launches in Spain next Sunday (11/25) and runs into mid-December. Details for that jaunt are posted at Springsteen's website (http://www.brucespringsteen.net/).
On Oct. 2, Springsteen and the E Street Band hit the road for the first full-scale tour of the US and Europe since 2003. That same day, the group issued "Magic," its first new studio set since 2002's Grammy-winning "The Rising."
On tour, Springsteen is joined by E Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan, saxman/percussionist Clarence Clemons, keyboardist Danny Federici, guitarist Nils Lofgren, vocalist/guitarist Patti Scialfa, bassist Garry Tallent, guitarist Steven Van Zandt and drummer Max Weinberg.

Danny Federici, an original member of the E Street Band, is taking a leave of absence from the current Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour to pursue treatment for melanoma. Charles Giordano, who played with Bruce as a member of the Sessions Band, will temporarily fill in for Danny until he is able to return. Federici has been playing keyboards with Springsteen since the late Sixties. Said Springsteen, "Danny is one of the pillars of our sound and has played beside me as a great friend for more than 40 years. We all eagerly await his healthy and speedy return."
Federici has been actively supporting the Melanoma Research Foundation and its Wings of Hope Gala, honoring Dr. Paul Chapman.

The rumors about Danny have been circulating for months. It's so very sad. Boston this week was his last show and it was obvious he was getting special treatment from his bandmates. Bruce pulled him down front & center at the end of the show and he & Steven wrapped their arms around him. Very emotional for the band and the fans. Charlie will be a great subsitute but I hope its just temproary!
On a brighter note, I am thrilled to be getting 2 shows in NC back to back!
